Refund Policy

We would rather give your money back than have you keep something you are not happy with.

Start with where you bought it

Refunds are issued by whoever took your money, so the fastest route depends on the store:

  • Books from Amazon — request the refund through Amazon, using the returns or “Manage Your Content and Devices” section of your Amazon account. Amazon's returns policy applies, and only Amazon can issue the refund.
  • Mobile apps from the Apple App Store — request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple is the seller of record and handles all App Store refunds.
  • Mobile apps from Google Play — request a refund through Google Play's refund process.
  • Bought directly from us — that is the Lumina Update Pass, and the guarantee below is ours to honor. Read on.

If a store declines a refund and you think we should make it right, tell us anyway — we will do what we can.

Try before you buy

Lumina is free to download and free to use. The free screensavers and overlays are yours with no purchase at all, and every screensaver — including the ones the Update Pass unlocks — runs live in the app's gallery, so you can watch each one and see exactly how it behaves on your Mac before spending anything. Please do — it is the best way to know whether it is for you.

The 30-day guarantee

This guarantee applies to purchases made directly from us — currently the Lumina Update Pass. If you buy one and it is not what you expected, ask us for a refund within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify the request.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once refunded, the license key is deactivated and paid content locks again; the free portion of Lumina keeps working.

How to request one

Send us a note with the email address you used at checkout, or your order number from the receipt. We aim to reply within a few business days.

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued through them, so the credit will appear from Lemon Squeezy on your statement. You may also contact them directly using the link on your receipt.

Renewals

The Update Pass does not take anything away when it ends — you keep every screensaver and overlay released during your term. If a renewal charge catches you by surprise, contact us within 30 days and we will refund it.

Your statutory rights

This policy is offered in addition to, and does not limit, any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live.
